The Intensive on-ice drills are designed to put the defenceman in control of all situations.  Players will learn escape moves, how to utilize the net, how to use their partner, backward skating, crossovers, pivots, breakouts, 1 on 1, 2 on 1, 2 on 2, transitional play, gap control and covering the net, plus other options to develop their defensive smartness.  Sharp accurate passes are stressed in the game situation drills.
